Fourth Grade Garden Grows

on April 8, 2013

Today fourth grade students worked in the garden behind their classrooms by the cafeteria.  Since they are behind the building and have a north west exposure, the plants get less sun.  However, plenty of plants are beginning to emerge from the soil.  Students created a small fence around the central courtyard garden to make sure students were not walking on the plants on their way to recess.  We put some of the dried leaves in the composter with plenty of water and coffee grounds.
