Learning the Parts of the Flower in our Garden

on April 16, 2013

5th grade students noticed the dramatic changes today in their garden.  In mid April all the tulips, grape hyacinth, and daffodils are in full bloom.  The red emperor tulip is a great flower to help you learn the parts of the flower – as the structures are so large.  What a great day to spend time in our garden.

check out the fifth graders sketching in our garden beds this afternoon.
