Planting Perennials in our Raised Beds

on November 6, 2013

5th graders spent their class period on Tuesday planting different perennial bulbs into the three raised beds in front of the Lower School.  We planted some of our tulip bulbs with compost from our indoor worm bin to see what kind of changes might occur this spring.  We planted the following bulbs in the garden.

Red Emperor Tulip

Daffodils

Crocuses

Blue Squill

Glory-in-the-Snow

Grape Hyacinth

Snowdrops.
